Taking my Americans on a trip through Europe!

Hi guys!
So as you can probably tell from the title of this post I had the second reunion of the summer with my host dad and sister. We had a great time taking the two of them on a trip through Rome, Italy and Germany. Our one-week-trip started out as a real adventure! Since the airline made a mistake on their booking confirmation my parents and I went to the wrong airport to pick them up. We solved the problem really fast though and got to have our first dinner together in over a year. Not only did we have an awesome time discovering all the sights of Rome like the Colosseum, St. Peters Basilica, Piazza Navona and so much more, we also enjoyed just being back together. It just gave me a little feel of my home in America. I don't even know how I survived a whole year without having my sister!!
After four hot days in Rome we went to our home in Germany. I was so glad that we were able to show them around our house and hometown. We also went to Dresden and Berlin to give them at least a little clue of how Germany is like. I really do feel like they enjoyed their time here just as I enjoy my time in America. Driving my American dad and my sister to the airport was very sad but at least I got to say 'see you soon'.
In only 59 days from today I'm going to be back home in Michigan. I'm incredibly excited and can't wait to actually be going to homecoming again. I never thought I would have the possibility to go to an American homecoming again.

I hope you liked the little update and I see you soon,
Michelle
